In this painting the lovers are standing on a verandah, and the lady, in an angry, resentful mood, is gesticulating and talking to Krishna. In spite of her anger, we can see the light of love in her face. When the poet describes the moon-faced nayika in an angry mood, he compares her to a flower-garden on fire.
